Coffee With a Philosopher

coffee with a prof

About:  At UCSD our philosophy faculty is known for being friendly and available to students. As a tribute to this, the philosophy club hosts a quarterly informal gathering with a faculty member where students can talk to them about both philosophical and non-philosophical topics. The goal is to allow students and faculty to communicate in a relaxed environment in order to promote a sense of community and to foster philosophical discussion outside the classroom.

The events are usually held at The Art of Espresso outside of the Mandeville Theatre.  Coffee (or any other drink on the menu) is paid for by UCSD Philosophy Club – all you need to bring is yourself!

UPCOMING MEETING:  Prof. Eddy Keming Chen, on November 5 (Tuesday), 2019 at 1:30 p.m.
